Identity as Infrastructure in the age of AI

Today, in response to the rise of AI, a US company built around minimal biometric proof-of-identity model — despite operating largely single-use systems, is valued at over $2.6 billion. silkke has taken a more ambitious path, developing an embodied, multi-industry identity infrastructure. Not a point solution, but a scalable global identity architecture.

2026 Perpective by Edouard DESLANDES — CEO Founder.

I began studying AI in 1992, when its applications were confined to specific industrial domains. Today AI has crossed a threshold.

Synthetic faces, voices and personas can now be generated on a large scale. The distinction between real and artificial identity is becoming technically imperceptible. This shift is structural. When identity becomes reproducible, trust weakens. And when trust weakens, identity becomes critical infrastructure.

For more than a decade, silkke has been developing an embodied digital identity architecture anchored in the real body of each user.

Unlike biometric systems designed for one-time authentication, silkke structures a persistent, activable and inherently multi-use identity.

capsule is the single point of entry into this architecture. In just a few seconds, it creates an embodied, standardized and interoperable digital identity. Each capsule can generate up to 100,000 identities per year.

At full capacity, the capsule can support the creation of tens of millions of verified identities within a few years.

Our model enables rapid global deployment, supported by brands and industry players seeking to offer new services to their consumers.

Soon to be secured on blockchain, the Digital Human will guarante a long-term continuity, separation of functions and interoperability across digital ecosystems. Blockchain is not used here as a speculative instrument, it guarantees the neutrality and integrity of the infrastructure. In the coming months, silkke will introduce a usage-token designed to support the operational functioning of the ecosystem. This token is not intended to become a speculative asset, but a mechanism enabling the activation and circulation of identity-related services.

Our momentum is supported by a clear financial strategy: a final €3.2m equity round currently open to strategic investors (following €8.5m invested over the past decade), followed by a targeted €15m usage-token issuance, and followed by a global expansion through the establishment of five regional subsidiaries to ensure data sovereignty.

silkke remains independent from dominant platforms, extractive models and excessive data concentration.

Independence does not mean isolation, it means neutrality.
